Pull apart garlic bread

Homemade pull apart bread with fresh garlic and parsley! Delicious as a side dish or an appetizer.

PULL APART GARLIC BREAD

Servings: 1 loaf or 2 mini-loaves Preparation time: 30 minutes + 60 minutes to rise + 30 minutes in the oven


INGREDIENTS:


2 cloves of garlic, finely minced

handful of fresh parsley, finely chopped

385 grams of bread flour

1 teaspoon of active dry yeast

125 ml of (plant-based) milk

125 ml of warm water

1 tablespoon of (plant-based) butter, softened

4 tablespoons of (plant-based) butter, melted

1 tablespoon of sugar

1 teaspoon of salt


INSTRUCTIONS:


  1. Add the warm water, sugar and yeast into a bowl. Let stand for 5-10 minutes.

  2. Mix in the softened butter, milk and salt. Then stir in the flour gradually.

  3. Knead for 7-10 minutes. Dough should stick to the bottom of the bowl but clears sides.

  4. Divide dough into 2 equal portions.

  5. Add the melted butter, garlic, parsley and a pinch of salt into a small bowl and mix together.

  6. Cut the dough into small round pieces and dip into the butter mixture. Arrange the dough balls into two mini loaf pan or one regular loaf pan. Cover and let rise for about 1 hour, until doubled. Reserve the leftover butter mixture.

  7. After 45 minutes, preheat the oven to 175 degrees.

  8. Put the loaf pan(s) into the preheated oven for 30 minutes or until golden brown.

  9. After taking out the loaf pan(s) you can put the butter mixture on the garlic bread.
