Oatmeal pancakes with apple sauce

A super easy and healthy variation of the 'regular' pancake. Delicious with fruits, chocolate spread, maple syrup or whatever you like...

OATMEAL PANCAKES WITH APPLE SAUCE


INGREDIENTS


125 grams of oatmeal

60 ml of apple sauce

1 egg or flax egg

2 tablespoons of coconut oil (or any other vegetable oil)


INSTRUCTIONS


  1. Add the oatmeal, (flax) egg, apple sauce and some water in a food processor and mix until you have a smooth texture.

  2. Put some coconut oil in a pan and fry the pancakes on both sides over medium heat. It's best if you don't make them too big but a bit thicker.


NOTES


  • Ideas for toppings: fruits, cacao nibs, grated coconut, nuts, maple syrup, cinnamon or whatever you like!

  • Can be stored in the fridge for up to a week.
