Marzipan Sweets


Marzipan is very popular, especially towards the end of the year. Making marzipan yourself is not difficult at all, plus it is a lot of fun to do together with the kids.

Marzipan Sweets


Servings: 20-30 sweets

Preparation time: 30 minutes


INGREDIENTS:


200 grams of almond powder

200 grams of icing sugar

4 teaspoons of aquafaba or 1 egg white

lemon juice

cacao powder


INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Mix the almond powder and icing sugar in a large bowl.

  2. Add the aquafaba or egg white to the mixture and knead into a solid ball of marzipan. Take your time!

  3. Add a few drops of lemon juice to the marzipan and knead a little further.

  4. Roll marzipan balls and roll them in some cacao powder.


NOTES:

  • Can be stored in an air-tight container for 3-5 days.

  • Optional: You can give the marzipan an extra aroma by adding, for example, a small dash of almond extract.
