Making your own hummus is really not that difficult. Also, it is nutritious and delicious as a sandwich spread, as a dip or in a salad!
Preparation time: 5 minutes
400 grams of chickpeas, drained 2 cloves of garlic 2 tablespoons of tahini 1/2 lemon, juice 1/2 teaspoon of cumin pepper salt paprika powder olive oil
Add all ingredients except the paprika powder into the food processor and mix until smooth. If you the hummus is too thick, add a little olive oil or water.
Sprinkle a little paprika powder over the hummus.
Can be stored in an air-tight container in the fridge for 3 days.
