Healthy iced tea with apple and lemon

One of the best ways to stay healthy is to make sure you drink enough water during the day. A good way to increase the amount of water you drink is to make healthy iced tea. This gives you a little more flavor, but also keeps you hydrated.
Healthy iced tea with apple and lemon
Servings: 2-3 persons
Preparation time: 2 minutes + 15 minutes + 3-4 hours in the refrigerator
INGREDIENTS:
1/2 lemon, in slices
1 apple, in slices
2 bags of mint tea
3 cups of hot water
INSTRUCTIONS:
Add the lemon and apple slices and mint tea bags in a can or jug and pour the the hot water over it. Let it stand for 15 minutes.
Remove the tea bags and place the can in the refrigerator for 3 to 4 hours.
NOTES:
If you want the tea to be sweeter, you can also add honey. Best to add once the tea has cooled. This way the nutrients are preserved.
Can be stored in an air-tight container in the fridge for a day.
