Chocolate banana bread

This chocolate banana bread is a deliciously sweet start of the day or a tasty snack during the day, plus easy to make just in one bowl!
CHOCOLATE BANANA BREAD
Servings: 10-12 slices
Preparation time: 60-70 minutes
3 bananas (+ 1 banana, in slices, used as topping)
2 eggs (or flax eggs)
90 grams of dark chocolate, finely chopped
60 grams of apple sauce
60 ml of vegetable oil (no olive oil)
5 ml of vanilla extract
100 grams of brown sugar
5 grams of cinnamon
280 grams of flour
2,5 grams of baking powder
5 grams of baking soda
2,5 grams of salt
Preheat the oven to 160°C.
Add the bananas to a bowl and mash them with a fork. Then add the eggs, oil, apple sauce and sugar and mix well until combined.
Add the baking powder, baking soda and salt, stirring after each addition. Then add the cinnamon and vanilla extract and stir until well combined.
Add the flour, gently mix in between. Then add the chocolate and mix until combined. Keep some chocolate aside, to use as a topping.
Lightly grease a loaf pan or use a baking sheet. Pour the mixture into the pan and put the banana slices and the extra chocolate on top. Then put it in the oven for about 40 to 50 minutes.
Can be stored in an air-tight container for 2-3 days.
