This chocolate banana bread is a deliciously sweet start of the day or a tasty snack during the day, plus easy to make just in one bowl!

Servings: 10-12 slices

Preparation time: 60-70 minutes

3 bananas (+ 1 banana, in slices, used as topping)

2 eggs (or flax eggs)

90 grams of dark chocolate, finely chopped

60 grams of apple sauce

60 ml of vegetable oil (no olive oil)

5 ml of vanilla extract

100 grams of brown sugar

5 grams of cinnamon

280 grams of flour

2,5 grams of baking powder

5 grams of baking soda

2,5 grams of salt

  2. Add the bananas to a bowl and mash them with a fork. Then add the eggs, oil, apple sauce and sugar and mix well until combined.

  3. Add the baking powder, baking soda and salt, stirring after each addition. Then add the cinnamon and vanilla extract and stir until well combined.

  4. Add the flour, gently mix in between. Then add the chocolate and mix until combined. Keep some chocolate aside, to use as a topping.
